10:00 – 16:00 – Discover your powerful mind with Accenture

Visit this innovate display and interactive experience in Keynes to discover all the dimensions of your mind. Offering an amazing experience in self-discovery, Accentre is offering you the opportunities to project your very brainwaves into ‘coloured light projections depicting the state of your mind.’ Not only is this an amazing experience to learn about yourself and your state of mind, but it is also an opportunity to experience start-of-the-art technology and enhance your employability by understanding your own skills.

10:00 – 16:00 – Careers Day – PWRR & Queen’s Regiment Museum at Dover Castle

Venue: Dover Castle Open to: History students and EP Point Value: 15 interested in heritage; all stages

Interested in working with history or the heritage sector? Then it would be worth giving Dover Castle a visit for their Careers Day. Here the PWRR and the Queen’s Regiment Museum will be hosting an event where they will explore the careers and opportunities that the heritage sector can offer. 10:00 – 11:00 – Is That Your Business?

Venue: KS14 Open to: All EP Point Value: 10

This session will look at vetting potential employers, companies particularly from a business’ EDI perspective. Attendees will also learn what to look out for on a company website, such as their policies, and find out the questions that can and can’t be asked in an interview situation. This session is perfect for anyone who finds businesses and interviews bewildering; offering amazing skills that will allow applicants to focus on key information often lost on employees.

12:00 – 15:30 – The Journey of a Graduate

Venue: COLT4 Open to: All EP Point Value: 10

This session offered by audit, tax and consulting business RSM will exemplify their business and the opportunities they can offer graduates. RSM will also display their experience of the ‘recruitment and selection process’, show you how to build your CV appropriately and even hold tests in a mock assessment centre. Even if you are not interested in the financial world, this session will still offer you an opportunity to talk with business professionals and learn from their invaluable experience.

14:00 – 15:00 – Be Your Own Boss

Venue: KS17 Open to: Student/staff EP Point Value: 10 enterprise, for all with ideas for start-ups

Are you an entrepreneur? Or at least hoping to be? Or are you looking to start your own business?

15:00 – 16:00 – Business French Diplomas – Paris Chamber of Commerce

Venue: KLT5 Open to: FR590 and FR592 EP Point Value: 10 modules students and French Students

If you’re interested in working abroad or simply study French, this talk by the Paris Chamber of Commerce is the perfect opportunity for you find out more. This talk will discuss the value of Business French Diplomas and will offer you the ability to talk with representatives of the French working world and enhance your CV to suit French businesses.
