KTV celebrates first year by entering into the NaSTA Awards

The University of Kent’s new television station KTV has entered the 40th NaSTA Awards after, “an exciting year of broadcasting”.

Station Manager Rob Linton said, “We are very pleased to be entering this year’s NaSTA awards…after only being set up since September this is a great opportunity for KTV to show off our shows nationwide”. Since setting up, KTV have worked closely with the other established media groups InQuire and CSR to cover live events on campus, such as the recent student media collaborative charity event Awakefor48.

KTV have entered 16 out of the 22 award categories including; Light Entertainment for their show Cookbook, the Live & Technical categories (Awakefor48), and Station Marketing.

The 40th student television awards will be held at Exeter University and hosted by XTV in April over a three-day period which will also include a conference.
