KU Elections 2015: Tammy Naidoo is new Kent Union President

Tammy Naidoo has been re-elected as Union President for another year.

Naidoo’s main manifesto points were:

– Lobby the University to review the Medway shuttle buses.

– Create more affordable housing for students, potentially through a Union-run Letting Agents.

– Loyalty rewards for students using Kent Union outlets.

– Termly Q&As with the Vice-Chancellor.

– Increased amounts of study space for students in halls.

Speaking about her re-election, Tammy said: “I’m so excited to be re-elected. There’s so much I still want to do so it’s great that I have the opportunity to do it.”
