The Gulbenkian theatre is celebrating it's 40th anniversary this month. The theatre was opened in 1969 and named after the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation which helped fund its construction. Since then it's bought the best in arts, theatre and entertainment to the students and general public of Canterbury.

Until the 30th June an exhibition of memorabilia spanning over the 40 years will be on display, including costumes, programmes, posters and photographs. Free to all, it will give visitors a nostaglic insight into how the theatre, and it's associated events, have changed over time.
